Board games are older than you think

Board games are one of the oldest traditions of mankind. Ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian sites show that these companies were games before they invented writing. Throughout our history, cultures have played an integral part of human rights. It was not until recently, however, that psychologists have begun to answer the question of why we play.

Growing up, psychologists postulate that we are playing games as a method of learning. For example, it is difficult to share learning from a book, or how to work as a team listening to a lecture. In general, the games have two things: one is a way to compete head injuries without. The other, perhaps more interesting is the game that are the mirror of some aspect of life subject. Chess is often marshalling an army to fight. Monopoly mirror trying to make his way in the corporate world. Games intrigue us because this Parallels.

So, what are the types of games are there? Now they are usually relegated to chess in specific categories: abstract games, such as stones and objects with its own board and creates piece of life that are a synthesis of reality. In the case of chess, knights, castles and even kings and queens, bishops, all pieces are represented on the other. Each type of piece follows a different set of rules> Game very complex. Dama other hand, uses pieces of the same game that everyone has the same rules.

A different kind of board game is the racing game. Games such as Parcheesi, and Backgammon are examples of this type. The goal is to reach the end of your piece or pieces start the game, using the rules of the game. A modified version of the game is the roll of race and the game in motion. The primaryDifference between a racing game (usually using a die or dice as well) and the role and the game move is that the objective of the second is not necessarily the first course. And 'possible to play monopoly person to move more slowly around the edge and still win.

Another way is to classify games with luck plays role in the result. There are games that are totally dependent on luck (craps, for example), and there areother games where luck plays no role, such as rocks lying in between. games like monopoly or risk management, in which a particular element of strategy involved, but there are still dice determine the outcome of security events.
